In 2015, a TV production company from the UK talked a somewhat reluctant Chris into appearing in a documentary series called, "Ice Town: Life on the Edge". If you know Svalbard, it's pretty amuzing. If you don't know Svalbard, it's also pretty amuzing. Chris bellyached comically about having to do stuff with this TV crew trailing him all day long, but I'm 90% sure he really enjoyed it. The show aired in 2016 and he features heavily in two episodes of the 10-episode series. In Episode 5, he's taking a group of students out on a snowmobile trip to do some drilling with hilarious results! In Eposide 9, he is preparing for and undertaking the Svalbard ski marathon. I love this episode because Chris is talking about something he loves, being in the outdoors with skiis strapped to his feet. He's wearing a grin and a twinle in his eye the whole time. The full series is available for purchase on Youtube (not sure it's worth it), but episodes 5 and 9 are only CAD$2.99 each! It's so nice having this reminder of pre-diagnosis Chris and seeing him in his element.

I remember a dinner at Chris` place where the wholeTV-crew was present and filmed. It was hilarious and weird to say the least, and the dinner (luckily) never made the cut . Chris was definitely a natural TV star though!
