First time my wife and I met Chris was when he spent time at Tims cottage in Gooderham Ontario. (we have a cottage down the lane from Tim's ). we heard that Chris had some kind of PhD and that he was some kind of Engineer at NASA. we were expecting "a big bang theory " kind of person who may converse at such a high level of complex vocabulary and make us feel a bit uncomfortable talking about any topic. Nope he was a humble, kind, person loved to just chat how Svalbard was a great change from the JPL gig; how Bozeman was a great place to enjoy 4 season living again after the Svalbard experience. what a great humble person, how he and Tim would just be adult children in the snowy north. He chose not bore us with rockets and trajectories Q-max topics. ice formation . super fun guy to hang with but, wow, sooo packed full of sarcasm. loved it . gonna miss ya buddy ! Pam and Mike Bovens
